What is the period of the function f(x) =log(2+(sinx)^2

 Q. What is the period of the function f(x) =log(2+(sinx)^2)

Answer:

=2+sin^2 x
=2+1-cos2x/2
=2+1/2-cos2x/2
=3/2-cos2x/2
Here the function is  now become f(x) =3/2-cos2x/2
It means that we know  period of cosnx is 2π/n.
Therefore, period of the function will be 2π/2=π
